Been way too long!!!

Its been way too long since Ive updated this thing. So sorry about that. A few weeks after my last post back in October I found out I am pregnant with baby #2. Since then Ive had a few troubles & am now off work on bedrest with walking privileges as long as im not trying to walk a marathon. So what do you say we get back to the LO's, Tags, & freebies? If no ones interested in them I wont, but if I get some comments that you want to see these things then I will start posting them more often again.

Freebie A Day Give Away

Since my items have apparently been taken out of the last store I was selling in Im thinking I might do a Freebie a day give away as long as I can with my kits, QPs, masks, overlays. Kindergarten

So thats my baby. She 5 now & started kindergarten 9/6/11. She is such a big girl. No tears from either of us because we did that in preschool last year. She was so excited yesterday, her first full day, that she got to make her own lunch & use her new lunch bag from her Uncle Matt. Today she was excited that she got to take lunch money to have pizza at school for lunch. I dont know if she was more excited about pizza or the apple slices & carrot sticks lol!! Hopefully I will be back soon with more tags, more kits, more something digi scrap related!!

where I am trying to get something new done to get up. I have been working 12 hr days & the summer has just flown by. I cant believe Aleah is 5 now & going to be starting Kindergarten in less than a week. On a good note I am a creator at Memory Lane Designs Just go there, sign up, & start requesting new SIGs like the ones below that I have made....

And now to finish the update lol.... Kevin & I got married May 28th & it was perfect! Also in July my nephew Jackson was born. He is the cutest baby boy in the world!!

Sorry I have been MIA so long. I am getting married May 28th & started a new job in January so things have gotten a bit hectic. I am trying to work on some new things for my stores & some freebies, but there is not enough time in the day to do all of what I want to do as many of you probably know lol. I also need color & theme ideas for some new kits. I will be updating my stores soon as well, with everything going so crazy I have had to politely step down from a few stores I was selling in. I could not put in the time they needed me to put in & felt bad about it. So I figured it was best to resign & let them use the server space I was taking up for others who can put in the time & products. Thank you all for understanding.

Update on my situation & MIA

Sorry its been so long once again. Coming up I have 2 new kits, 3 new QP sets, & a ton of gorgeous creations from my CT. On to personal business though....

I have been having issues in my family life. The most I will go into, aside from missing 4 very close family members who passed away last year more & more each day, is I am getting over bronchitis just in time to have surgery on my knee. They are hoping that they can use a small incision to fix whats wrong in there. If not they will have to open further or schedule a 2nd surgery to replace the cartilage in my knee. So now to the fun posts lol!!!

NEWNESS

Just a little update...New blog LO made using my Spring For Lexi kit Made by Tootsies Creations. I am absolutely lovin it !! Also I have a new blinkie made from the same kit & blinkie also made by Tootsies Creations. I am excited to say after attending 7 funerals last year including my 8 1/2 yr old cousin & my father I am finally starting to get my mojo back. I am trying to finish collabs for the stores I sell in this weekend. And I am trying to finish a new kit for July 4th =)

Well I have decided to start doing PTU kits as well as free ones. I will be added to the store tomorrow morning with 3 kits 2 medium size & 1 mega kit. Also there will be 5 mask sets. The store is also doing a lottery starting today or tomorrow. My part of the store is [HERE]

When your order is processed {they'll be done in order form earliest placed to latest}..with your links for purchase, you will also be told what customer number that you are. Thank you for the comment & advice. I was wondering about the blog look. I am going to do some changes around here. I am gonna change the backgroud & font color to make it easier on the eyes. I am also going to add labels to make it easier to find things like QPs, LOs, & Masks. Thank so much for the advice & I will get on this tonight.

A different kind of christmas poem

As I sit in my warm, safe home I am blessed by all the young men and women serving our country while I reap the blessings! They are a true gift here at Christmas! May we never forget them in our hearts and in our prayers!

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.

Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.

My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know,
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.

My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.

A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

'What are you doing?' I asked without fear,
'Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!'

For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts.
To the window that danced with a warm fire's light
Then he sighed and he said 'Its really all right,

I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night.'
'It's my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me,

I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at 'Pearl on a day in December,'
Then he sighed, 'That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers.'
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of 'Nam',
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.

I've not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue... an American flag.

I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.
I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.

I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.'

'So go back inside,' he said, 'harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I'll be all right.'
'But isn't there something I can do, at the least,
'Give you money,' I asked, 'or prepare you a feast?

It seems all too little for all that you've done,
For being away from your wife and your son.'
Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,
'Just tell us you love us, and never forget.

To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone,
To stand your own watch, no matter how long.
For when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled.

Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us.'

Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities. Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us.

9-11 post 2

I was trying to get the bubbles & sun!

This is for those who were lost. These large bubbles went up in the air. Some popped near the ground where some were lost that day. Others went up into the sky before they popped. Some went up into the light of the sun. I shed a tear as I sit here & post to those who were lost & so many more who could have been lost trying to save others.
